Murchison Falls National Park-Covering 3,480sq.km. Murchison falls conservation area comprises Murchison falls national park, Bugungu and Karuma wildlife reserves. At this National park is where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with Hippos, crocodiles, and waterbucks. The vegetation is characterized by savannah, riverine forest and woodland. Wildlife here includes; lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeests, oribi, Uganda cobs, hyenas, different primates and a variety of bird life. Kaniyo Pabidi is an undisturbed natural forest area within Budongo Forest reserve, where you can walk beneath mature mahogany and ironwood trees. Chimpanzee tracking is the most famous activity in the area, but there is a wide range of other primates and Birdlife. The birds include White thighed hornbill and Puvel's illadopsis, found nowhere in East African national parks. Savannah grasslands surround Rabongo forest and are far from Paara's park headquarters. Spotting primates black, White and black colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, baboons and others.

Day 1:

Entebbe to Murchison Falls National park. 
After Breakfast, you will proceed to Murchison Falls and have Lunch in Masindi. After that, you will continue to Murchison falls via the top of the magnificent falls.

 Day 2: 
Murchison Falls National Park. Enjoy the beauty of the falls and its variety of Wildlife & Birdlife. The day is centred on the river Nile. After Breakfast, you will cross the Nile for a transfer to the Northern sector for game viewing, most commonly the elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, Warthogs, Leopards, Lions and many animals.   The view of the Borassus savannah is spectacular. You will have the opportunity to return to the hotel for lunch (Paara Sarova Hotel). Afternoon on a Launch trip to the top of the falls for a spectacular view as the mighty Nile is forced up a seven meters gap before plunging to the depth below. The Nile is one of Africa’s most splendid water safari up to the base of the falls.  As you travel up the Nile, look at the enormous Nile crocodile basking on the sand banks or gliding silently up the water. Animals to view here include; Elephants, Lions, giraffes and a variety of Antelopes. Bird life is prolific, and the chance of seeing the rare shoebill stork is high. The return journey from the falls as the sun sets is one of the most beautiful and relaxing of your experience in Africa. After a Launch trip, transfer to Paara lodge or Murchison River lodge overnight. (FB)
